The stoning of the bus by the Rangers fans didn't affect our players. It's a real shame that it occurred but in the end it didn't affect us.

I was convinced we would beat Inter. In the second half perhaps we deserved to score more than one goal. This isn't a miracle or a dream. It's based on hard work and belief.

Understandably, the players are shattered. We played such a complete game, we were very superior to Arsenal — even better than they were in the first leg. We deserved to be in the final.

Of course it's important to go down in the history, but we are already thinking about how we can get to the semi-finals. There is no limit to the ambitions of this team. Our dreams are being held in place by the hard work and dedication of the whole squad.

We think it was a stone which broke the window. But it didn't affect the way that they played or how they felt before this game.

Diego did not have too many opportunities to impress at Manchester United but he has had time to settle and show what he can do here.
