The system is the problem. It's not the people. Whatever we paid them, it would be well worth it to cut them from being subsidized by private interests. It's wrong.

If one of the purposes of this gathering was to educate and organize people to support Proposition 2 [the ban on same-sex marriages ], there is a serious issue about whether they need to disclose the [funding] sources of this activity.

It's worth it to get pedestrian facilities into that neighborhood.

There are lots of homes through here worth a million dollars. At least they were yesterday.

When this is finished, it will be a beautiful, pedestrian-friendly retail environment. It will have been worth it.

We expect at least $100 million worth of time and space over the next two years, so it is a big deal. When we are successful in making an issue that every American feels responsible to act on, that in itself can reduce emissions.
