The U.S. can't be alone to face the challenge of terrorism, poverty, development, instability in the world -- we need to be together,

Terrorism is a global challenge demanding a global answer.

The Nice summit will be one of the toughest in the history of Europe.

In the days after 9/11, we heard innumerable reprises of the lazy leftist trope 'poverty breeds terrorism.' But the Arab world is wealthy. It suffers, as David Pryce-Jones has said, from intellectual poverty.

The challenge of predicting terrorism is that unlike fraud, we don't have the same volume of historical data to learn from. Compounding this is the fact that terrorists are constantly changing their methods and do their best to avoid leaving any digital footprints in the first place.

We are in favor of a strong coalition to fight terrorism. All international organizations and the United Nations in particular must be engaged in this endeavor.
