The volunteers are critical to the success of this program. Many of them give up their nights and weekends planning for this. You couldn't ask for better volunteer spirit.

Success is blocked by concentrating on it and planning for it... Success is shy - it won't come out while you're watching.

One of our Japanese students was planning on going home to Japan for spring beak, but his passport was destroyed in the fire. We were able to work with the Japanese government to get him to fly home, but they weren't sure if he would be able to get a visa in time to return, so he has decided to stay in Rhode Island.
