The war on terror is unlike any war we've ever faced,

I support the offshore oil and gas leasing moratoriums that the Bush Administration has continued off coastal states including California and Florida. Now I want to ask the coastal states, the Bush Administration, and Congress to support leasing moratoriums for some ecologically sensitive onshore areas, as well.

Our future will not be determined by chance, but rather by the choices we make today, and in the days and weeks ahead.

Raising a family is difficult enough. But it's even more difficult for single parents struggling to make ends meet. They don't need more obstacles. They need more opportunities.
