The warming water temperature has moved them out of the deep river channel. But after the cold weather moves in this weekend I'm betting they'll move back to the rivers.

Weather conditions played a major role in the lake's distribution of walleye in 2005. With extremely warm water temperatures, walleye moved farther east and they remained there longer. If water temperatures remain cool in 2006, we should have a phenomenal walleye fishery in the west and central basins of Lake Erie.

Iron rusts from disuse, stagnant water loses its purity, and in cold weather becomes frozen, even so does inaction sap the vigors of the mind.

I wish I could predict the weather, but if we don't get any rain around here, it definitely could be a long fire season.

February was almost a carbon copy of January. About the only difference was we had a little bit cooler weather.

Overall, it is a very strong figure for January. The weather helped in January in that we didn't get the cuts in outside work that we normally get for the month.
