The wish fulfillment of growing younger is not necessarily all it's cracked up to be. You have new problems that arise which you are not anticipating and you deal with the same problems you would deal with if you were ageing normally: what is the end of life about? What have I accomplished?

I'm on the younger end of Gen X, and for me, growing up gay was not cool.

When you're a teenager, everything seems like the end of the world, and I don't think that's necessarily a silly thing. You're waking up and becoming aware that the world has problems and those problems affect you, whereas when you're young they don't seem to affect you that much even if you're aware of them.

Growing up, I wish that I'd had the supplies and laptops and all the new technology that's out right now.

I wish I had been home more when the children were growing up. I missed a lot.
