The world's top students deserve the opportunity to benefit from a Rensselaer education regardless of their financial situation.

It's a tremendous opportunity, and I hope students apply.

This would help those students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to be in these courses, and it will support them and monitor their progress.

Do I agree with everything the governor does? No. But break down the things he has accomplished with education, healthcare and economic growth, and in a politically competitive state that has had wide Republican influence during his terms, and no one could argue that he's been out cutting ribbons.

We're excited about offering the opportunity to more students to live on campus. We expect it to go over quite well.

It's an important opportunity for students to actually get to meet, get up close and hear a viable candidate in person.
