The younger kids like being able to enter a model car and being involved that way. But you don't have to be showing a real car or have a parent showing a car to participate in the model car competition.

The kids fought back and they played hard. I'm happy for them.

The kids know this year that there's more at stake and they need to pass them to graduate. So, I think the scores will go up.

There are families who have lots of kids who go to Harvard, ... I don't know too many who have five go. What was unusual about (the Chavezes) was that it was a no-college-background family. It's not only a no-Harvard-tradition (family), there was no college tradition in the family.

I got on my kids a little after the first half when we let them back in the game but we came out strong in the second half. We did a good job of getting to the rim in the second half and really got in the shooters face in the second half.

We talk to the kids for a few minutes about the piece and ask them what they see. Then we get them to compare the image in the piece with their own lives and ask them about symbols they see in it that correspond with symbols from their daily lives.
