Their children are finally having their voice. They feel they have to speak for an entire community that doesn't have a voice. And that's what I found so beautiful.

I was familiar with the campus, the community, the stadium, and we felt that we could put these pieces together and build a program, ... My on-the-field memories could fill a book.

If we are going to create change, it has to be done through the American way.

We are gathered here today to show our dislike for the legislation that is being passed in the United States. We're here to do it in a peaceful manner. We're here to show our congressmen and our senators that we're here to stay, we have a voice, and we're going to use it.

The bottom line with me is what is best for those children and what is best for that community.
