We had gotten good defense and good pitching all year. But it was a great game by Shelby. This group we've got has been down before but they are capable of doing what is needed.

Defense turns into points and that is what we kept stressing. They didn't stand and watch. They went after the ball and made some things happen.

We're going to need to continue to play good, solid team defense -- we need to refine that even more. But even more importantly, I think we need to finish off our opportunities when we get them.
