Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; / And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off: / And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
