There are a lot of people on campus interested in film and video production. The film courses have always been popular, so I think it's important that credits for those classes are counted.

The minor has a number of courses in film history and analysis that are just as important as the production classes. Although when people first hear about film courses, the production side tends to appeal to them more, we want to make people well-rounded.

We're not introducing a lot of new classes or faculty for the minor. Instead, we're going to reinforce what we already have and focus on getting the lab up and running.

If the money's right, I'll do a film.

In any film there's always a historical implication.

You can put all the scrutiny in there you want--people will still find a way around it. We need every dollar we can get for purses.
