There are generous people in this community. We have a pretty tight application process, we want to know where our money's going.

I really see it getting really big. In this community you have to search for people who are similar to you. Another year and we'll be in much better shape.

I used to give my paintings away to people. I just wanted to make something pretty that would give somebody some pleasure. If somebody told me they liked a painting, I'd just give it to them.

I [am] just hoping that over the next number of days that all the people within the community will … look at this in a very positive light,

There is probably no one venue in the community, besides the Rock Cats, that draws the people that the museum does to the city of New Britain. Too often we have a lot of negatives tied to our community, and this is a huge positive.

We may be open limited hours, we're open because of the community. We have a number of people that are calling us and supporting us, we have a number of people that are saying thank you for being open, seniors included. We're here to help the community in the best way we can.
