There are people who think that honesty is always the best policy. This is a superstition; there are times when the appearance of it is worth six of it.

Let me make the superstitions of a nation and I care not who makes its laws or its songs either

When even the brightest mind in our world has been trained up from childhood in a superstition of any kind, it will never be possible for that mind, in its maturity, to examine sincerely, dispassionately, and conscientiously any evidence or any circumstance which shall seem to cast a doubt upon the validity of that superstition. I doubt if I could do it myself.

Superstition Vistas sits out there vacant, not because there aren't buyers for it, but because we can't plan it. We don't have the money. Our inability to plan the land has caused development to leap over it. That's not supposed to happen.

Everyone has his superstitions. One of mine has always been when I started to go anywhere, or to do anything, never to turn back or to stop until the thing intended was accomplished.
