There are so many variables as to how a kid performs on a given day.

The team received a fourth-place overall finish because we were consistent. We placed in the top 10 in most every event, with some fourth- and fifth-place finishes. This was a very focused team.

This is not what I envisioned. Obviously, with the wind blowing it was not going to be an offensive day. The only time it could be is if you gave free passes.

It was almost too much for my brain to handle. It was a crazy day. I tip my hat to the players. It isn't easy playing in that environment.

You've got to get started sometime. I'd rather have it be the first day than later on. It's different looking across the field at guys I knew for a year, it adds a certain amount: The team I played for, the team I play for now. More than anything, it was good to put on this uniform today.

Bentley came in here the very first day and rode across the room, which is unheard of. It usually takes five or six weeks.
