There are some days when I think for sure there are so many other stronger Christians than me out there.

When I get home from a heavy work day, I make sure I get outside with the kids. I don't think there's any better cure than being active as a family outside.

Undoubtedly, the biggest misconception about me is that I'm some staunch conservative, blind, rightwing hardcore Republican who doesn't want to hear anything from the other side.

I think we all depend on a significant other, and we think if they leave me, I'll die. But that's not true. We're all much stronger than we think we are.

The best Mother's Day gift I ever got was just a full day with the kids where they did their mommy pampering. They cut cucumbers and put them on my eyes and my daughter gave me a facial. I'm not even sure what was in it!

Perhaps I am stronger than I think.
