There are some purists out there, who really go to sporting events for the love of the sport. Most people are going for the entertainment. They want to hear good music. They want to have fun. They want to leave with a smile on their face, whether the team won or lost.

This hardened enemy are the same type of people that executed the events of 11 September. It's obvious ... that they're not just peasants.

When I got here in 1997, people were coming to see the team and be part of the college atmosphere. Now they're looking for bargains and gimmicks and promotions and fun. They want it to be more than just a game.

We love to have a variety of classes, programs and events to draw people in. We want everyone in the community to know that we're here, and we have something that they will really enjoy.

People just love to see the sprinting events. No one wants to watch a kid run around the track 12 times.

The exact sequence [of events] that occurred here we don't know. Most likely there was some kind of an electrical failure, maybe in the electricity panel, because the backup pump capacity and power should've kicked in and done the work … but the pumps were not receiving electricity and they shut down, and that's when the flooding started.
