There has never been a gallery here for me to show my work. I show all over the country, and I've never had the privilege of showing in a gallery here.

My work comes to life when the thread goes on top of the fabric.

It is like drawing with your sewing machine.

This is sun printing. You put the paint on, you put the actual leaves on, and where the leaves are in the sun, then it turns a lighter color.

I never could quite do mine like every one else. I always wanted it to be unique in some way, so that's how I got where I am.

Ours is the strongest in the country, and it sends a positive message. There was a tremendous amount of lobbying pressure by multinational companies against little nonprofit groups. Coke worked this nonstop.
