There is a long line, so I guess it runs in our blood.

We set goals as a team and I just tried to help the team achieve those goals and one of those goals was to win a regional. It feels good to bring a regional title back to the school. Anytime we can bring something back like this to Kewanee it is nice.

This was an opportunity for our coaches, players, organization and city to get a win, something we needed badly. Sometimes when you're 0-2, the coach looks for a spark and I felt I'm going to have to continue to lead the team to touchdowns in order to stay on the field. This was a total team effort for us.

One of the nuisances of the ballot is that when the oracle has spoken you never know what it means.

I think many people end up taking buyout offers quickly because $100,000 (or some other lump-sum payment) can seem like a great deal of money, only to end up realizing after the fact that it wasn't enough to justify leaving. People need to avoid the wide-eyed feeling of I'm winning the lottery and make sure they think about if I am 50 I still got decades ahead of me.

This concept of sharing greater costs with the employee is nothing new.
