There is absolutely no connection between the accidents. They are all completely different events, with different airplanes in different situations.

It gives a better 'yardstick' to the kit-builders (people who build their own airplanes). It will feature airplanes more like real people build and fly.

As fast as those airplanes are going, even if you have a medium-sized bird, that's a pretty big force that can cause damage.

The goal of (the safety stand down) was to try to prevent accidents like this. The bottom line is that we're doing everything we can to make sure things like this don't happen.

My life seemed to be a series of events and accidents. Yet when I look back, I see a pattern.
