There is no knowledge of true being. The world is fundamentally in a state of becoming.

Better know nothing than half-know many things

It is some fundamental certainty which a noble soul has about itself, something which is not to be sought, is not to be found, and perhaps, also, is not to be lost. The noble soul has reverence for itself.

Our treasure lies in the beehive of our knowledge. We are perpetually on the way thither, being by nature winged insects and honey gatherers of the mind.

Belief means not wanting to know what is true

Ultimately, nobody can get more out of things, including books that he already knows. For what one lacks access to from experience one will have no ear.
