There is not one nickel of church or town money involved. The residents will pay for the whole thing.

They will pay for what is covered, whether or not an out-of-town person is involved in an accident.

If there's a need, and that's what the residents would like to see, then that's great. Every town has a wish list of what they want, and if that's a high priority, then that's what the town should do.

As a board we need to think about the town, not just the local residents.

We at Hempstead Town want to make it easier for our residents to adopt one of our animal shelter's wonderful cats and dogs. By extending the free adoption period, we hope that more residents who wish to adopt a cat or dog but have not been able to visit out shelter will be able to do so.

There's some new money here, but it's not a huge amount. They've been robbing Peter to pay Paul.
