There was no way we could design this program from the top down and tell students what to do. We made a deliberate choice to break out of the right-wing model and allow students to define us.

That was the only interest we received on forty campuses. That is not to say fellows are not organizing on Iraq--just not through the program.

We don't expect the students to come up with the final design. This is more for stimulating discussion and raising awareness about what we want to see in the roundabout and how we're going to get it there.
