There were a couple things that we tried. They played good defense and took a few things away from us.

We scrambled around to find a date. The next five days will be equally tough on us. I haven't seen Moeller (since last season).

The kids are handling the rankings well. We just tell them to remember where they came from, what got us here. It's hard work and unselfishness. Maybe we're not the No. 1 team in the state, but if it's based on attitude, then we might be.

They played us great on defense. Melissa is our big gun and they took her out of the game with their defense. We also had overcome their height advantage, but we're young and young teams make mistakes. Now we have to mature.

We stepped up the defense in the second and third quarters. That kind of got us to where we wanted to be.

Defense is what carries us. It got us the momentum and it got us some easy baskets. That's how we got that run.
