There were a few pitches, in my opinion, the umpire missed. That's when the rally really started. Instead of getting a strikeout, there was a base hit. There were a few like that.

Vladimir hits the ball as hard as anyone in the league. He swings and hits bad pitches. He sees so many bad pitches, he expects a bad pitch every time. Barry is different because he will not swing at a bad pitch. But Guerrero hits bad pitches out of the stadium.

He's throwing three pitches instead of four pitches, but how he's throwing those three pitches isn't different from when he was starting.

I think their plan was to swing early. I think they just swung on the first pitch to get on base. I was always trying to establish my fastball. They tried to take advantage of it. But for me the key is throwing strikes.

I cannot blame the team for what they did. They figured that this is what they need to do in order to I guess to, I don't know, not to say to help him out but just to clean up some of the issues that have been happening to this organization.
