There's a need to reform Medicare, but not a need to cut a half trillion dollars out of Medicare.

We need to reduce our dependence on foreign sources of energy.

If they did everything they wanted to, reports have estimated it could run over a trillion dollars.

If at the end of May we don't, we'll reform, regroup, decide how we're going to go about it, but if the task force can't come up with the bill, I'm going to push mine, and go ahead and make the changes in it that we've been working on now for a year or two and just go for it.

We in the United States should be all the more thankful for the freedom and religious tolerance we enjoy. And we should always remember the lessons learned from the Holocaust, in hopes we stay vigilant against such inhumanity now and in the future.
