There's a fine line this time of year. We need to be keeping everybody healthy and not overrunning. It's a week from Saturday and we're psyched.

There were some good runners there. I think we'd have come in maybe sixth or seventh overall if all the top 3A schools were there. We just need to keep bumping it up and improving.

We are doing pretty good overall. We definitely need to continue to work on our fifth runner on varsity. We've had a few ups and downs with that spot. We plan to continue to train hard and work towards defending our Val-Co league title.

It seemed like every time we'd get it to one or two and get a shot at the rim, it seemed like it had a lid on it. We were down two and O'Rourke had a wide-open 3 that was in and out; down two and Tyler Gilbert had a 15-footer that was three-quarters of the way down and out.

I talk to Dom all the time, but he still won't tell me any of the good plot twists for next season's 'Lost.'
