There's a lot of tough players out there. My next match is going to be very tough, too. There's not going to be any easy matches anymore.

It was tough, ... I gave everything I had on those match points and she just came up with better shots. I said from the third set on, 'Just go for it.' It worked.

It's going to be a tough match tomorrow, Amelie is playing great. It's getting closer towards the end so if I win, great, if I lose I get to go home, so that's good, too.

I feel better this year than I did last year. I've had a really tough draw so far. I really still feel like everything has to be at your best, especially against Amelie. She mixes her game up so well. She can be very aggressive but then she can mix in the slices and the spin ball.

I know that I'm going to have to work hard, keep working hard, and not because of this victory think, 'I'm back.' I don't think like that. I'll definitely work hard. Things are not going to be easy. I might lose first round next week. You never know.

We just need to get a little more match-tough. Everybody's going to get stronger, and hopefully next year we'll have some players be seeded (at the state tournament) and we'll be able to do a lot better.
