There's no good reason for missing free throws. I guess we just didn't focus enough.

We work on blocking out every day during practice. That's a key to winning — rebounding. Blocking out is the key. If the man is bigger than you and you've got the position, he can't do anything but come over your back.

We saw that they were getting on the boards, so we had to get the lead on the boards. We realized they didn't match up with us, and we just took it to them. Just the point of being in the first round of the playoffs — it's been a while since we won a playoff game. We're all excited and ready for the next opponent.

The reason we didn't get overly excited is because we realize how good we can be. We focus more on our mistakes and how we can play better.

When I decided to give boxing all my focus, this is the reason I did it. I'm more ready for this than anything I've done in my life. Anybody can spend their entire career in the shallow end of the pool but I decided I want to get in the deep end.

There's no question that the Mountain West Conference wants to be a national program. Their focus is on the BCS. This is what they aspire to be, and these are the aspirations of TCU.
