There's no risk in going with Microsoft. They're not going away any time soon.

Even though Office 2007 is very innovative and a compelling solution, it is a big endeavor for enterprises to undertake, and many of them are going to sit on the sidelines in 2007 and wait and see and learn from others' experiences.

We have a lot of organizations, even in emerging markets, that are looking for innovation, looking for the desktop environment to become a real productivity starting point. The open-source community is still just imitating what Microsoft currently has on the market.

There are some other things you have to take into account with risk. If you only have two or three years before college starts you really don't want to take the risk of the market going down and possibly not having as much as you started with.

This is a time to get better and we try to use this preseason as kind of a stepping stone to take short steps to be ready by the time the season comes around.

It's my understanding that if we don't meet those federal guidelines then we are at risk of losing the federal funds that were supplied to Indiana to implement this project.
