We didn't want our system so stuffed with nonviolent offenders that we were paroling violent offenders. What makes sense is to use those resources for your most violent offenders.

Just ask the violent offenders that I have successfully tried and prosecuted myself, ... Go ask them if my failing the bar had anything to with my abilities as a prosecutor. I am the most qualified candidate to be the district attorney.

That's 69 guys who are going to jail someday and don't even know it yet.

Just a ton of excitement, and the way the guys are together on this, they're looking at me to grow and to learn, and I'm looking at them to grow and to learn.
