These kids are very impressionable. Knowing that, we have to be very conscientious of how we act.

We wrapped 467 age-appropriate paperback books for the kids.

The goal is to expose third-graders to Valley, to show them how cool it is and make them want to work to get here. We started working on this event in October and it went really well.

When we were kids, we'd go to the playground, choose up sides and act as our own umpires. With the umpiring historically bad, maybe the players' union could implement this idea.

You can go and you can listen and you can really push the buttons for kids to act and go and look at your family history and all those kind of things. Inside the museum, the eight galleries, the hands on, the classroom space, a foyer grand entry where the community can use for weddings and receptions -- the whole nine yards.

I know they're high school kids, but they don't act like high school kids and to give these kids this opportunity has been terrific, as a teacher and a director.
