These people are still without many necessities, and they're living cramped up in trailers. We are trying to do everything we can to help.

We ran across many people who lost everything. They all wanted to share their story, and it's important to listen. In the course of listening to one such story, Ed met a woman who used to be in the trucking business but lost everything, and he promised her a truck.

I've been organizing these kinds things for a while now, and every time we need help, the Home Builders Association is always right there.

We took them items ranging all the way from refrigerators to sofas, bicycles, computers, washers and dryers to clothes. We've had an overwhelming response from the community. All of these items were gathered in only a week's time.

This is about people who are trying to make a living, trying to work, trying to be productive citizens. This is not about charity. . . . This is about quality of life in our community.

There were more than 100 plants. We had a wonderful time trying to identify all of them.
