They answered every time. This game was lost on a lack of defense. I could tell right away we didn't have the intensity we needed.

We thought the game was over at halftime, but we came out flat in the third quarter. Our defense was just falling apart, and Catholic was getting more confident every time they came down the floor.

We left Clinton in the game with the fumbles. But our defense responded every time they had something thrown at them.

Our defense prides itself on playing tough every time out. Right now, I have nothing to complain about.

We were in position at the right time on defense but I don't think we always made that key play. We knew their backs were fast, and they certainly showed it.

I don't know if we can call it home yet. This is only the second game I've coached in this gym.
