They didn't teach you how to wrestle snakes in business school.

It seems to me that the people involved in making the decisions about school spending are all extremely aware of their obligation to the taxpayers of Monroe. The effort to meet the needs of the student population and to comply with all state and federal laws, while searching for the most cost-effective methods of achieving those goals, is evident.

The idea is to get kids to think about not only what they are doing in high school but what they will do next.

It wasn't an easy decision to send your son off to a school like that. But he was out of hand at that time and we had to do something. Even though it was extremely tough to do, it was probably the best thing for him because Glen Mills worked for him.

We've had a long, successful history of working with the school district and this is one more example of that.
