They had to meet a plateau of standards, such as being able to work together and showing community spirit. We were also looking for communities that had had some distress, but were willing to pull together in spite of it.

There's a disconnect between music heritage and the history of the community. It falls through the cracks.

(The hospital) does need to work on communicating to the public the good things the hospital does for the community.
