It depends on the day, the mood and how much money you're flashing.

I know it's difficult for my American friends to acknowledge it, but part of the reason that religious conservatives, Christian conservatives and others, have been so successful is that they tap into the commonsense instincts of so many Americans.

I don't see that kind of political strength coming from the religious left - because they don't seem to be terribly representative of ordinary people, ordinary Americans, the values that ordinary Americans have. They don't seem to be terribly representative. They do seem to be out of step with the mainstream.

They did a good job of keeping us off the boards. We felt we needed this game. We did all you can ask. We played hard and we still believe in ourselves.

I think we all felt a little bitter. When that announcement was made, every one of us had a pit in our stomach. Hopefully, the team used that as motivation throughout the summer. I know the coaching staff used it as motivation during the summer - that we didn't want to be back in the (WNIT).
