They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers; a grievous word it is that comes out of their mouths; they speak nothing but a lie.

And follow not that of which you have not the knowledge; surely the hearing and the sight and the heart, all of these, shall be questioned about that.

Fear God and he will give you knowledge

And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? / Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: / They say: What! You can know a thing to death and be for all purposes completely ignorant of it. A man can know his father, or his son, and there might still be nothing between them but loyalty and love and mutual incomprehension.

Many of the founding fathers either traveled through or at some point stayed here in our city.
