They held their composure. They hit their free throws. They hit the big shots when they had to. That's why they're the defending national champions.

The big thing was they were averaging 26 free throws a game and we held them to 15. That helped us a lot. I thought the contact was there at both ends of the court. You try to adjust to how the game is being called.

If we would have hit our free throws, we would have won. When you miss 17, that's 17 points we could have had.

Free throws always win games. Toward the end of the game, when it became crunch time, we hit some big free throws and that pretty much gave us the game.

When you don?t make your free throws and you don?t make the big stops, you can?t win games that way. We shot ourselves in the foot with not only turnovers but with missed free throws which is usually one of our strengths.

We hit 29-of-37 free throws in the game and did not panic when they made their run.
