They just owned us with their defense. They smothered us with their defensive pressure.

We knew their defense was going to cause us to play faster than we're used to. A lot of times that leads to poor execution and turnovers. We had a good week of practice preparing for this weekend and one of the things this weekend was being able to execute offensively at a higher pace, and we were able to do that.

After they beat us, I was pleased to see us play with more confidence.

Our defense wasn't there. Theirs was better. They are a good team.

Overall, we played well. I was pleased with how we played today. I thought it was a well-rounded effort. Everyone played well.

We wanted to try to get back on the right track and get some confidence early.
