They really went on a mission to accomplish something special this year, and they really worked. You can sense something during the winter program, spring practice, the way they trained.

Sometimes I don't even know what coverage we're in. But it worked.

Everybody is special. Don't stand there and let people call you useless. You were created for a special mission, a mission that no one in this world was created for. Find that mission and enjoy life!

I honestly found out about halfway through the year how special the group we have is, because everyone on this team's a leader. Our attitude in the locker room and on the bench is so positive. It was unbelievable because every guy was involved. This journey has been something I'll never forget.

This is the tenth year Waterville Valley is hosting the New Hampshire Special Olympics and we always look forward to this time of the season. Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces at the end of the games reminds us of just how blessed we are to be a small part of their lives.
