They see themselves winning [over other groups] and now they're fighting to see who gets the biggest piece of the action. That puts the U.S. in a different position.

Certainly, there are things that all clubs fight whether it's geography or lack of winning or finances. They're fighting a whole number of issues.

We're fighting for a playoff spot. We're fighting to keep a winning season. We've had seven consecutive years of .500 or better. I remember in 2000 that was our third straight winning season. That was the first time that's happened at Charles Henderson since 1981 or '82. Plus, we are playing Stanhope Elmore. I've told our guys if we win this game they can say something that an awful lot of good Charles Henderson football players can't say - they've beaten Stanhope Elmore. So this is a big game for us.

We're a young team. I'm really pleased all the guys came out with winning records. That says a lot of our program.

We had to come out and grind out a win to get back into that winning mentality. We finally woke up and realized it's not going to be easy. We're going to have to fight for everything we want.

When you're winning, they say you have aggressive players when they spout off. When you're losing, they call it dissension.
