They wanted to do it on a bigger scale. The girls called up all the libraries and requested the space.

This troop has been together since they were Daisies. We do a lot of community service with the Valley Parish Nurse Program.

Last year the Parish Nurses received grant funding to do a drug prevention education calendar. The Scouts did a pilot project by doing several small presentations and having students do drawings. Calendars were made and distributed to elementary schools in Derby, Seymour and Oxford.

The three rules of the Librarians of Time and Space are: 1) Silence; 2) Books must be returned no later than the last date shown; and 3) Do not interfere with the nature of causality.

Surveys with kids have shown that the reason they don't use libraries is because they don't have any space.
