They were able to stop the bleeding for about 8 seconds so I could shoot the free throws. Then I came back to the locker room, and it took a bit longer than usual to get stitches — probably because I was really in a rhythm.

I think that was real big. I was bleeding and they wiped me up real quick and stopped the bleeding for about eight seconds and I was able to get my free throws. I went back (for stitches) and Billy just came in and played great basketball. He picked it up where I left off.

It just came down to who made the most free throws.

It (foul trouble) may have been a key in the second half. But we didn't shoot hardly any free throws in the first half. The second half they had more fouls than we did. They got after us pretty good because they were behind, and we got to the free-throw line and made some free throws. Obviously, any time you've got the lead and you make free throws, it's big.

I think our (200 free relay), if we drop a few seconds, might be able to make it (to district).

This is going to stop additional bleeding (of cash).
