They were instant friends,

During the telecast ... I was asked a question in the top five, by Tony Danza, about my platform issue, which was metastatic breast cancer. Lori was watching the telecast, and when she heard my answer, according to her, she said she felt like I was speaking to her directly. She decided she wanted to get a hold of me to tell me about her vision for a new cancer foundation in addition to the Building Awareness show home.

I have the utmost respect for John and Lori Lober. Lori's creativity and her vision has given hope to so many cancer patients and their families. When people hear Lori's story, when they visit the show home and attend the events, people are touched in a way that sometimes they can't describe, they feel so at peace, and I have been witness to that.

A lot of my friends have gone off to college, but the ones who do stop by think this place is cute.

At first I didn't think too much of it. Kids, you know, leave, and friends might not know where they went.

I laugh more at practice than anywhere else. It's just like hanging out with our friends. We talk to them about everything from boyfriends to gossip.
