They're all working hard and really improving. They won't hit their strength until the winter and spring seasons, then we'll see just how strong they are.

There have been better (seasons), definitely. I don't know what to attribute it to. I don't know if it was a freak thing, once every 20 years or so, but it's bound to happen every once in a while. Maybe the bettors are getting smarter and the books are getting dumber.

I want to focus on performance. Score doesn't matter until we get to the conference meet. We will allow each team to have one to three people in each event. Things will be set up to be the best situation for the athletes.

I wanted to bring track and field to Southern Utah to showcase some of the athletes we have. We have quality athletes.

This was just an awesome meet for us again this week. To go up there and compete that well against mostly Big Sky schools was impressive.

This has been an awesome weekend for us already. These are great opening marks - maybe the best we've ever had in our first spring meet in school history.
