They're very mature for as young as they are, ... Even though most of them are freshman, they probably have more tournament experience than most of the kids they'll be playing against.

We have an 'older' club this year. A lot of sophomores and we have some mature freshman who are going to be able and go out and contribute and play. [They will] contribute in a lot of ways to help this team out, to compete to win the Jayhawk West again, compete for the Region VI Final and compete for a national title.

With a freshman sweeper that's probably going to be in front of her, she's going to be real big (for us). For her to take her communication skills and leadership and just her overall experience look for her to take control there in the back especially on set pieces, getting them organized.
