They're very, very cautious animals.

They're just apprehensive about 'the new,' ... They're very intelligent animals. They're creatures of habit just like we are.

The only responsible action would be to stop treating animals as commodities to be bought, sold and traded, to cease building amusement attractions that exploit animals, but instead focus on protecting and promoting animals in the wild.

Our animals in captivity don't fight for food. They don't have to travel long distances for food, water and shelter. Zoo animals have 24-hour veterinary care. They have a specially prepared diet weighed to the gram, and they have animal care staff checking them every day for injury.

I am not over fond of animals.

They were very, very big animals indeed.
