They've sold out on a wide-range of issues, not just gun control. They've become more Democrat than the Democrats.

You are no longer the lesser of two evils.

You folks have never prioritized solving abuses against NYC (New York City) pistol license holders nor applicants, and have gone along with so-called 'gun control' measures of Gov. Pataki. This abuse has continued for decades. You never went beyond 'token legislation' to solve the problems.

In spite of 70 years of federal flood control efforts and nearly 40 years of federal flood insurance, the costs of flooding continue to rise and there is no federal policy to provide direction for future actions.

I believe if we had elections right now, that Democrats would lose control of both chambers of the legislature because of the scandal. I feel like I'm acting in the party's best interest. By getting rid of him now, we don't have to deal with it.

Just because Democrats control committees doesn't mean they have an easy working coalition. There's still a coalition of conservative Democrats who will work with Republicans on key issues.
